Here are some of the clients we have worked with

This is my fourth decade working in economic development in Wales and the UK. I started my own boutique grants consultancy business in December 2008 having taken voluntary redundancy from Deloitte after nearly 8 years as a Senior Manager in their Grants and Incentives Practice. My role was to help companies access grant funding. I achieved a 100% success record in all applications in that time ranging in scale from £250k-£13m. Prior to joining Deloitte I worked for the Industry Department at the Welsh Government within their Innovation and Investment Grant teams appraising grant applications. I was also an International Project Manager at the Welsh Development Agency specialising in Foreign Direct Investment into Wales. I am now involved in working with companies to help them access funding towards their investment plans and R&D projects having worked with companies from the UK, US, Canadian, Australian, Russian and Turkish clients, amongst others.

During my time as a self-employed consultant, I have been very fortunate to have worked with some great blue-chip clients and to work alongside the good folks from Welsh Government, both past and present, who have been very supportive. Grants raised for clients in 20 years totals £90m overall. Not too shabby. During the last few years I have also worked closely with the Development Bank of Wales, UK Steel Enterprise, The Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and other funding agencies in Wales and the UK, procuring a number of funding tranches for clients.

I have maintained my success record since starting my own business, by way of example:

March 2011, £1.75m funding for Monitise to locate their HQ in Nantgarw and create 700 jobs; March 2013, £2.4m funding for Crown Packaging UK Plc to enable them to undertake an additional new investment project in Wales; April 2014, £2.3m funding for the Royal Mint to build a Visitor Experience at their HQ in Llantrisant, South Wales; June 2016, £3m funding for MotoNovo to create 600 jobs in Cardiff; March 2017, £600,000 funding for SAPA to expand their product line in Bedwas creating up to 130 jobs; December 2019, £850,000 funding for ANNA Money to locate their HQ in Cardiff creating 280 jobs; May 2021, £2.1m funding for Ortho Clinical to expand their Pencoed production facilities creating 100 new jobs; August 2023, grant of £825,000 for Rocket Science US gaming firm to locate their European HQ in Wales creating 50 jobs. In total I have secured over £90m for clients with more in the pipeline.

Grants Secured to date: £90m
